In the interests of a sustainable future Energy Response has joined the Busines Council of Sustainable Energy (BSCE) as an associate member. We support the BCSE's policy and reform activities.

Energy Response's activities are complimentary to the intention of hte Energy User's Association of Australia (EUAA). We enjoy strong support from them on promoting Demand Side Response fo rthe common good. Energy Response is an affiliate member of the EUAA and works together with them on various projects.

Department of Energy and Utility Services

The Department of Energy and Utility Services (DEUS) is the NSW Government agency responsible for providing the Government and the people of NSW with advice and delivery of policies, reforms and programs, which ensure energy and urban water is sustainable, competitive, efficient, affordable, safe and reliable. Energy Response is contracted to work closely with DEUS for the next three years on the Energy Savings Fund for Demand Side Response initiatives.

Ministerial Council on Energy

The Council of Australian Governments (COAG) established the Ministerial Council of Energy in 2001 to oversee the development of a national energy policy and the process of energy market reform in Australia. This Council comprises Energy Ministers from the Commonwealth, States and Territories.

Energy Response has been appointed to the Energy Market Reform Standing Panel of Consultants. The Secretariat to the Ministerial Council on Energy has established the Standing Panel as a source of advice to the working groups pursuing the Ministerial Council's energy market reform work program. The Panel has been appointed for the three years with a possible option to extend for another two years.

Standards Australia

Stardards Australia is the peak, non-government body renowned for its role in the development of standards for industry. It provides an active forum for discussion, debate and consensus. Energy Response has two staff members on Standards Australia committees. One is at the sponsorship of EUAA an the other is recruited directly in recognition of his contributions in product development as an Electrical Engineer. The common interest is development of remote control devices for tthe activation of demand side response.
